Opportunities For Smes: Participate In Dronitaly With The Voucher “smi Internationalization 2026” Of The Lazio Region

The eleventh edition of Dronitaly is preparing to welcome the professional drone community from 11 to 13 March 2026 at the EX-GAM – Bologna Congress Center. SMEs with an operational headquarters in Lazio can take part in the event under facilitated conditions, officially recognized this year as an international trade fair, by taking advantage of the “SME Internationalization Voucher 2026” promoted by the Lazio Region.

Three days dedicated to exhibition, conferences, technical round tables and networking, to showcase the most advanced technologies and to foster B2B and B2G relations aimed at developing new partnerships, projects and market opportunities.

Target audience: beneficiaries

The measure is intended for SMEs registered in the Italian Business Register and with an operational headquarters in Lazio. Companies lacking the general eligibility requirements are excluded.

What it funds: B2B trade fairs and internationalization

The call finances participation in international B2B trade fairs, such as Dronitaly, taking place between 1 January and 31 December 2026.

The incentive: financial parameters and grants

The contribution is a non-repayable grant (direct cash subsidy) granted under the De Minimis regulation.

How much is the voucher worth? The fixed contribution is €15,240.00 per fair, up to a maximum of three, composed as follows:

  • €12,700.00 lump-sum amount for direct costs (space, setup, registration).
  • €2,540.00 (20% flat rate) for personnel and travel costs.

Using the voucher to participate in Dronitaly therefore allows companies to reduce the cost of the stand and plan their presence at the fair more effectively. The event offers an international environment dedicated to technologies and services for professional drones, fostering meetings with operators, institutional stakeholders and potential industry partners.

Deadlines: when to apply

The procedure is merit-based, with a ranking system assigning points according to specific eligibility criteria. The time windows for submitting applications, managed through the GeCoWEB Plus platform, are as follows:

  • Application form available online: from 12:00 PM on 21 October 2025.
  • Opening of application submissions: from 12:00 PM on 28 October 2025.
  • Closing of application submissions: by 5:00 PM on 28 November 2025.
